Our high gloss package is a great choice for the customer that wants as much shine as the travertine tile can give them. We start by cleaning the floors, then we will run our 2 step honing process to create a smooth semi gloss surface. After the honing we will polish the travertine with our polishing powder to deepen the shine and give you a clear high shine. The last step is the travertine sealing to protect the travertine from etching, staining and discoloration.

This Travertine tile job was in Phoenix and was a foreclosure, the travertine flooring was in desperate need of TLC. We started with our travertine cleaning process to remove all the dirt and debris, after the travertine cleaning we ran a travertine honing pad to even up the finish prior to the polishing. We then started the travertine polishing with our polishing powder that is formulated for travertine tile, after the polishing we run a neutralizer to bring any left over powder and stone to the surface to be extracted. The final step is sealing the travertine with a penetrating sealer to stop future staining.
We love travertine tile, travertine flooring will last a lifetime but needs to be cleaned regularly. This travertine tilewas in a rental and was abused for 3 years, we came in sprayed down an alkaline cleaner, scrubbed the travertine flooring with a rotary scrubber to break up the surface dirt.
